Sculpt a Frost Wolf — Grade 4

Make a white-and-blue fantasy wolf sculpture using spikes, markings, and strong silhouette using original-world rules, consistent design choices, critique, and documentation. Use the example for ideas, but choose your own subject, colors, arrangement, and details.

Study the example for possibilities, then close or cover it. Your work should make different choices.

What to do

  1. Make your own version of “Sculpt a Frost Wolf”. Keep the subject in the title, but invent the design and story details.
  2. Your core skill today: Use a small model to test balance before developing the final structure.
  3. Draw the character or setting from the front. Circle the three largest parts and name the material needed for each.
  4. Shape a broad body or base first. Add smaller clay parts with the joining method demonstrated for your clay; support thin limbs and leave drying space.
  5. Add one face, costume, object, or setting clue that tells a viewer who lives in this story world.
  6. Check joins from every side. Repair loose parts, then photograph the model as a still scene. A model is anime-inspired design, not animation until frames are recorded.
  7. Name one change that made the result clearer. Label or dictate your name and title, share the work, and clean the tools.
01

My project: I am making a white-and-blue fantasy wolf sculpture using spikes, markings, and strong silhouette using original-world rules, consistent design choices, critique, and documentation. Draw or write your idea.

02

My choices: Circle or write the colors and materials you will use.

03

My plan: Draw the big shapes or main parts and show where they will go.

04

My first step: What will you make first?

05

Halfway check: What part needs to be added, moved, fixed, or made stronger?

06

Finish check: Are the main idea, important details, and connections complete?

07

Share: One choice I made was… One change I made was…

08

Skill evidence: Use a small model to test balance before developing the final structure. Show your test and explain what you chose; speaking or dictation is welcome.
